No reduced pricing for new customers to the ITP-plan
All new customers, defined as customers new to the ITP-plan after December 14, 2007 will not be entitled to the premium reduction announced by Alecta’s board of directors on December 4, 2007. The reduced premiums apply only for customers registered with Alecta on or prior to December 14, 2007.

Initial invoices will include the reduced premium even for new customers
Due to limitations in Alectas invoicing system, all customers, including new customers, will be invoiced at the reduced rate for all of 2008. At the end of the year Alecta will calculate how much the full premium should have been and a surcharge for the difference will be sent in the beginning of 2009.
This applies only for customers with employees in the defined benefit plan (ITP2). Employees in the defined contribution ITP-plan (ITP1) will be invoiced by Collectum with the full amount from the start.
How much will the surcharge be?
The retroactive surcharge will be approximately 1 per cent of an employee’s salary up to SEK 360,000 kronor (7.5 income base amounts). For salaries from SEK 360,001 and up the surcharge will be approximately 15-20 per cent.

Companies that switch from the FPG/PRI model to Alecta
Customers that switch from the FPG/PRI model to insurance with Alecta after 14 December 2007, are considered new customers and will be treated as such.
** High wage earners
No surcharge will be made for employees who have chosen alternative ITP. This is partly because the premiums have different models, and partly because they are not invoiced by Collectum.
